After installation issue

HI, I have changed the .htaccess for the 500 error, but now after completed the installation the program go back to the one step installation page.

Try to enable mod_rewrite in your server configuration

I'm sorry but I have not access to php configuration.
Is a webspace with php and sql.
From sofcolous I can install too but after there's 500 error.
Maibe I can retry with softcolous and add the line in .htaccess?

Ha ok, now it work, I have install with softaculous and add rewritebase \
Before I have try with softaculous but I have had the 500 error and try to install directly...
But I have not understand because before have had problems.
And is not from a server configurations, because the server is the some.
