Add a Listing Page (when logged in) not displaying correctly

Postby PFI » 05 May 2018, 04:23

When logged in, the "Add Listing" Page does NOT display correctly - as in - it looks as though the page was corrupted somehow...

Once i go and set the page to active in the Database, the page will appear in the listing area of the admin section and can be edited through the regular screen and displays correctly

any ideas anyone ?

Most likely during the files CMS loading on the hosting you don’t use a binary format data transfer mode - https://open-real-estate.info/en/installation-guide

Thank you for your reply...

Sorry ... I should have mentioned that the page WAS working fine before and all of a sudden it was not anymore ... so i am wondering if it was corrupted on the server somehow and WHICH file we need to upload again to just fix this page (everything else is still working fine )

Initially we had done the automatic install through softaculous and all was well ... we are currently evaluating this software and discussing which modules or pro-version we will buy and somehow during working and testing we may have broken this page or a server backup reload may have corrupted it (who knows)
to re-iterate EVERYTHING else seems to be working fine except this page AND the Animated-GIF we are trying out as a Listing Picture is also not working which may be a different issue ?

Thanks again for replying

Cheers

Most likely you have a Java script error. It could appear because of the reason above. Or one more thing – you added or changed code yourself. To solve this problem, it needs website's accesses.
The technical support is 2 (two) months from the moment of the script buying.

OK ... so ... after reinstalling the script and the database the page is loading again just fine ... BUT NOW we have an issue that a new user creating a listing (guestad/add) - or signing up - is asked to enter a "verify code" BUT no code is displayed even after asking for a new code ... AND we have captcha disabled

This was working in the previous install and now it is not ..... we also enabled and disabled captcha several times but it is still doing this

any ideas... ?

by the way ... we are NOT allowed to give access to anyone to the server .. our hosting company is VERY clear on this and has the right to terminate our hosting account... so we will NOT give access to the server ... BUT we can follow instructions quite well. :-)
